About Our Tallow

Not All Tallow Is Created Equal

At Golden Acre Tallow, we render our tallow in-house in small batches, using only grass-fed, grass-finished beef suet sourced from local farms in the Fraser Valley. Suet is the nutrient-rich fat found around the kidneys and loins of the animal and is considered to be one of the highest-quality sources of tallow due to its purity, smooth texture, and ideal composition for skincare.

Unlike tallow made from beef trim fat, suet creates a softer, more luxurious texture that melts beautifully into the skin. It's naturally rich in beneficial fatty acids and provides a nourishing base for a deeply moisturizing skincare product.

By sourcing our suet from local farms, we're able to carefully select high-quality ingredients while supporting farmers in our community. We believe quality begins at the source, which is why we prioritize responsibly sourced, carefully rendered tallow.
